Dining for Women will be having it’s monthly potluck on Tuesday, May 7 in the Oneto Community Room from 5:30 – 8:30 pm. All are welcome. 5:30 – 6 is social time, so we can be dining by 6:10 and have our presentation completed by 8, cleaning up by 8:30 pm. Sue Strakosch will be presenting the grantee receiving the $41,040, Razia’s Ray of Hope Foundation, in Afghanistan. This project will train young, talented students to become midwives, which will allow them to be on the frontlines of providing essential healthcare services and education in their communities. Come learn how through collective giving, Dining for Women funds projects that contribute to our goal of helping women and girls in the developing world achieve their potential, gain equality in their countries and cultures, and overcome economic limitations and social bias.
