It Isn’t Nice: A History of Nonviolence in the U.S. – Charlie King and Candace Cassin


Through songs and stories, King and Cassin will chronicle the progression of nonviolent direct action in the United States, from the Boston Tea Party onward.

Charlie King is a singer-songwriter and political satirist. He is the current recipient of the annual Phil Ochs Award for social and political justice. Candace Cassin is a social services provider and teacher of Buddhist practice. They are married and live in Shelburne Falls, Mass.
